Looking for some help on a table of data that I scraped from the web. I need assistance on creating a new column based on a value in another and I can’t think of a solution.

I’m scraping the data from the following url: http://rotoguru1.com/cgi-bin/fyday.pl?week=1&game=dk#QB

The table has football data by player and position. In this example, the first value in Column 1 is “Quarterbacks” and then lists each quarterback underneath. Then column 1 row 43 lists “Running Back” and each corresponding running back underneath with their data.

I’d like to create a new field that lists the players position next to them, derviing the value based on the players in-between each Position Title. So everything between Quarterback and Running Back would have a value of “Quarterback” etc.

    I have attached the workbook.

    Thank you,

    Brian

Fill down is a cool feature in Power Query.
