    Quick question: Is it possible to publish a Power BI Desktop file to an SSAS Tabular Server using PU?

    We have been using Excel PowerPivot as an “Authoring” tool and then publishing those to SSAS Tabular. However, Excel is always quirky (perhaps due to the add-in mechanism).

    PBI Desktop feels much more stable, so we would like to switch to using PBI Desktop as the authoring tool. However we need a way to publish those to the SSAS Tabular server easily.
    Is that doable using Power Update?

    Hi Avi,

     

    Great suggestion. We will put it on the Development Roadmap.  There are some reseach and testing to be done.
