In Excel 365, have a calendar table in one workbook, and in another workbook, I’m using Power Query to load the Table to the Data Model. When I view the last line of my short query in the data workbook, I have the fields I expect in the order I expect.
In the Calendar table in the Data Model, however, I have fewer fields than my query returns, and the ones I do have are in a different order. (And yes, the Import Data dialog has the add-to-data-model checkbox checked.)
When we use PQ to load data to the DM, are we not allowed to add fields or change their order? (I thought that only copy-and-paste had such a limitation.)
How can I load a calendar table so that I can add fields and rearrange columns as needed?
