    Tom,

    Hope all is well.

I was wondering if you ever came across a scenario where you were using rankx to rank a group, i.e. GroupRank:=rankx(all(‘grouplookup'[group]),[sales]) and you get different answers if you filter down to the individual member of the group.  For instance if I have 5 values for group (A,B,C,D,E) and B sales is ranked 2.  However, if I use a slicer to just show group B, the rank is 3.

I tried to recreate this with simple data and simple model, but I could not.  So I didn’t want to publicly share the workbook.  Just wondering if you ever saw this and know if I’m missing something.

    Thanks,

    Mike

    Hi Mike,

Have not noticed that behavior with RANKX. If you would like to dialog privately, feel free to email me directly.

    Tom,

I tried sending you an email through onedrive.  Hopefully it went through.  If it didn’t, I’ll try again.

    Thanks again,

    Mike
