I am surprised I still loose my power tabs in Excel 2016. It often happens when I go to connect to a csv or text file.  I get a connection error, then go back to Excel to find my tabs are missing.  Then I go and add the tabs back in options.  Its getting to the point I would buy a macro that would let me at least automate the adding back of the tabs.  Anyone else experience this frequently?  Or know of a better solution other than re-adding the tabs back each time?  Thanks!

    Hi Mark,

When I first started using Power Pivot it seemed to happen frequently (once a week or so), but now it only occurs rarely (once every 6 months, if that much).
