I’m using the power bi rest api to push rows into a streaming dataset, each row with a datetime column value.

I want the dash to display aggregations for only *today’s* records.

Usual way to implement this is to create a calculated column with dax using the TODAY function, and filter on that indicator column.

But calculated columns are not available using the programmatic rest api method.

Also, the power bi relative date filter is insufficient because of the time zone difference between my datetimes (pacific) and power bi time (UTC) – I’ll always get several hours of today showing up as tomorrow.

So what is another way to filter for today, in this situation?
