    Good afternoon,

I’m using Power BI desktop and trying to use a single slicer to control the axis of multiple visuals but I can’t quite make it work.  Specifically, I want a slicer that has different reporting units (biweekly, monthly, annually) that changes the time axis for related charts.  Where I’m running into trouble is that I have a bar chart that should show one unit’s worth of detail, and want a line chart to show multiples of that unit.  So, the bar chart would have one biweekly period, while the line chart’s horizontal axis would be 26 biweekly periods (or 1 month/12 months, or 1 year/10 years, depending on the slicer selection).

I’ve been able to build the slicer (fed from a disconnected table) and have it correctly control the bar chart, but can’t figure out how to use it to control the related line chart.

    Any help is appreciated,

    David
